iPhone: So near yet so far…

I apologize for the hype that I caused with the news of the iphone selling cheap ($199). To be honestl, I actually believed that the iPhone would sell around that price, unfortunately, the iphone’s price is heavily subsidized by it’s carrier (Globe here in the Philippines), and the price is just whoppingly high. Enough to destroy a mans dream

Anyway, don’t get your hopes down yet, we always have the ingenious people who help us get the iphones at a lower price, not talking about fake ones here, just people who know where to buy cheap stuff

The prices are insanely high, I heard that Smart has cheaper prices than globe. So oh well, I guess I’ll have to wait a few more years till it gets dirt cheap.

Okay, this is my first post-Nursing community niche. I was mindlessly viewing videos on youtube until I came across sigevalee’s channel. They have one of the best freaking acoustic covers on the internets (IMHO)! I don’t really know much about them but according to their youtube page they’re both from the Philippines and are now in Sydney, Australia.

I’d love to see them perform here in the Philippines, as celebrities. Here’s a sample of one of their vids and be sure to subscribe.

Okay I have pretty much given up on the Filipino Nurses Community niche for this blog. I am reverting this back to my personal blog theme and feel..

I didn’t really put much time into the community theme because I’m too damn busy with school and I really need an outlet for my feelings and emotions. So there..

ECG interpretation is a skill that any nurse must have. This is also a step ahead for student nurses.

Our clinical instructor shared this website called Six Second ECG: Cardiac Rhythm Simulator. Basically it simulates what can be read in the ECG strip and it also has an exercise where you interpret the current ECG reading. The website is http://www.skillstat.com/ECG_Sim_demo.html

Be sure to use internet explorer since the size of the flash embed is too small when using FF and opera

You may notice that the posts on this blog is totally random and not related to nursing at all. I apologize, this used to be my personal blog and am moving the theme towards being a blog for the Filipino nursing community.

In an effort to unite the nurse bloggers I am starting the Pinoy Nurses Bloggers Round Up! i will be posting some code that you can place on your sidebars soon to advertise the initiative. I am yet to write a mission/vision statement but the main driving force here is to unite the nurse bloggers voice making it easier for us to discuss and address national and international issues that concerns our careers.

I also made a forum as some of you might know now or may have joined to discuss stuff

This has got to be the most annoyingly amusing commercial ever in Philippine Television. It’s about a kid drinking his Alaska milk and this basketball player talks to him in a damn weird way. It’s so damn weird that I can’t really explain why I like to say eleska men over and over and over and over again..

This has got to be the biggest waste of time ever. But it’s also damn amusing that I’m willing to throw my future just to plurk.

Plurk is just like twitter but instead of a boring linear view you get a fun timeline view. It’s a good way of letting your friends know what you are doing
