The typical nursing student receives a significantly smaller amount of sleep than that of other normal college students. This is mainly because of the requirements we have to pass, the deadlines we have to meet and the nightlife we have to live (was joking about the last one… really…).
It is generally known that the average person needs atleast eight hours of sleep to effectively regain energy and to reduce stress. Sleep is probably the best stress relief and we just can’t get enough now can we? But, there is no scientific basis to the benefits of eight hours of sleep. (Read on …)
